Here is what that means.

Separia is a private place for the part of life nobody talks about at work: a relationship in trouble, a separation, or the year after. Built by a family law attorney. Paid for by your company. Free to you. Your employer never knows whether you used it.

You will need the company code from the message HR sent. Any email works, including a personal one.

What is inside

  • A three-minute private assessment that tells you where you are and what to read first.
  • A Library of short, plain guides for every stage: figuring out what is happening, planning, working with a lawyer or mediator, and rebuilding.
  • Work tools: today's three, a weekly check-in, a court date planner, a place to park the thoughts that show up during the day.
  • Wellness: how are you, a journal, guided breathing, recordings in a real voice, and a list for the hours that are yours now.
  • English, Spanish, and French.

What your employer never sees

  • Your name, your email, or whether you signed up at all.
  • Anything you read, write, answer, or save.
  • A notice when you use it. There is no list of who uses Separia. There is nothing to hand over.
  • One caveat: on a work laptop or phone, your company's IT may see which sites you visit. A personal device avoids that.

Fair questions

Do I have to be getting divorced?

No. Most people who use Separia are not. Some are trying to figure out whether something is wrong. Some are staying and want to do it better. Some are years past a separation and rebuilding. Nothing in Separia pushes you toward leaving.

Is this therapy or legal advice?

Neither. It is education and tools, written by a family law attorney with 22 years in the room. When you need a lawyer, mediator, or therapist, Separia teaches you how to choose one well. It does not become one.

Will anyone at work find out?

Not from Separia. Your employer receives one report of totals across everyone, never names, and nothing at all until at least ten people have joined. Every page has a Quick Exit button.

What if I stop needing it?

Then you stop. There is nothing to cancel. Your account and everything in it can be deleted by you, in Settings, in one step.
